Rejuvenation Retreat

Join us from January 30 - February 2, 2020 for Rest, Relaxation, and REJUVENATION in Beautiful Topanga, California

JOIN OFF THE MAT, INTO THE WORLD® FOUNDERS SEANE CORN, SUZANNE STERLING AND HALA KHOURI FOR A LONG WEEKEND OF R&R

Yes, we said it, rest, relaxation, and REJUVENATION in beautiful Topanga, California.

We know that so many of you are dedicated to working towards justice and transforming the world (and yourselves). You may not have the opportunity for down-time or self-care, which is a vital part of sustainable activism.

We invite you to join us for 3 nights dedicated to cultivating a practice to sustain us. Throughout the weekend you’ll enjoy a balance of:

  • Daily yoga, meditation and movement practice (for all levels of experience)
  • Self care and community care rituals
  • Hiking and Nature walks
  • Daily organic vegan meals
  • Downtime for your own personal reflection
  • Spontaneous laughter and silliness (and maybe even a dance party!)
  • Lounge on one of the sundecks
  • Enjoy the jacuzzi or natural sauna, and follow it up with a rinse in the natural rain shower

Our goal is for you to leave the weekend feeling full and re-committed to your own wellbeing so that you can show up fully to your work and in your community.

THE RETREAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF YOU'RE:

  • Craving time in nature and stillness
  • Needing community and connection
  • Feeling drained without time for yourself
  • Experiencing vicarious trauma or compassion fatigue
  • Placing everyone’s needs above your own in an unhealthy way
  • Needing to reconnect with your inspiration and purpose

THE VIBE:

Come be with a group of likeminded, big-hearted people. For those of you who spend so much time holding others (your community, family and the world) - Seane, Hala, and Suzanne hope to create a space where you feel seen and held. Where you can let go and be supported.

We believe that an important way to counteract the consumer and “productivity at all costs” culture is to cultivate balanced states of being and true connection in community with others. As we build upon these values, we move toward a more sustainable and regenerative world. Once again, the work begins inside before we can offer it outward. The world needs you - We hope you’ll join us.

WEEKEND OVERVIEW

YOGA AND MEDITATION
These yoga classes will be designed for all levels of experience and all bodies. Our focus is on self-regulation, grounding and opening up to joy. We will also encourage outdoor walks to connect with nature and to contact states of silence and deep listening.

SELF-CARE RITUALS

These practices will support us in finding deep and meaningful ways to get current with ourselves and to explore the non-negotiables of body/mind/spirit that support our work in the world. We will also co-create rituals that remind us of the power of collective vision and support, and this can help us to remember that each of us has a unique part to play in that larger vision.

CREATIVE EXPRESSION

It is often through spontaneous play and creativity that inspirations, ideas and solutions present themselves. We will explore the ways that movement and sound can unlock suppressed emotion and lead us to a sense of possibility and freedom! We will then focus our imagination toward risk-taking and visioning next steps.

PRICING

Registration fee covers all group activities from January 30 - February 2nd, including daily yoga and meditation, group hike, and kirtan. It also includes 3 fresh, delicious, locally-sourced breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 3 dinners.

*Spa services are not included and must be booked directly via our host.
